What a dayy! After a good but short night of sleep, I started off at 05 am, jumped right into the shower and did some meditation right after before preparing and packing up for the day. Checkout at 06.00. Breakfast. Meeting the team. 07.00, leave. Take a taxi boat (hahah I love my life) to the island. And start to work.
So, I can‘t really tell and show you too much about today. But the location we‘ve been into was crazy. I mean, look at this villa:
And it actually has some story:
„On an island in the Stockholm inner archipelago there is a beautiful summer villa. This was once a magnificent summer residence belonging to the banker Gunnar Kassman. […] However, in 1921 the bank was bankrupted, and a finance company, where Kassman was one of the partners, took over the responsibility for the house. [..] After this the villa and the garden dilapidated, something which has continued. […] the costs for restoring the house would be astronomical for a single person. […]“ – Red Bull
So in this crazy place we spent about 6 hours and shot an entire campaign for Nelly.com. As always, teamwork makes the dream work. We had brilliant models, photo team, H&M and orga team that worked great together even though the timing in general has been super tight.
At 16.00 we had to rush to get on time to the airport. Thank god I wasn’t the only one flying out the first minute. Luckily we got a transfer with the speedboat to save every possible minute. 17.50, bags dropped. 18.10 boarding starts. 18.40 takeoff. 19.00 start copying material and writing blog post during flight. 21.00 arrival Munich airport. 22.00 arrival home.
I mean, I could have chosen to stay in Stockholm. But isn’t this much cooler? Working somewhere in Europe, being efficient as fuck and see your family and friends at night? I would 200 times prefer an unrealistic tight schedule than wasting time in hotel rooms.
Over and out from a very tired Seppi, hope you enjoy a bit of insight? Will try my best to keep and mix it up more and more. Tomorrow wakeup at 05.
